PHILWEB Corporation on Monday said that it had signed a strategic service agreement with FBM, a global leader in electronic bingo, video bingo, slot and gaming machines, to develop and deploy online gaming capabilities across FBM’s nationwide machine and venue network.

Under the agreement, PhilWeb will provide technology services, systems integration, and regulatory-compliant support to build and operate FBM Philippines’ online gaming platform.

Unlike conventional online gaming projects, the collaboration allows digital content and engagement features to be deployed directly into FBM’s physical venues and machines.

PhilWeb said the rollout was expected to begin with thousands of machines, with the potential to expand to as many as 30,000 machines across more than 500 locations nationwide.

“Rather than launching a standalone online product, this collaboration allows us to help FBM build online capabilities that are deeply integrated into their existing machine and venue network,” PhilWeb President Brian Ng said.

Pepe Costa, country manager of FBM Philippines, said the partnership was designed to strengthen both the company’s online and offline operations.

“This partnership enables us to extend our online presence in a way that directly benefits our offline business. By deploying online-driven features across our machines and venues, we can offer a more engaging experience for players while creating stronger revenue opportunities for our partners nationwide,” he said.

PhilWeb shares surged by P0.66, or 6.45 percent, to close at P10.90 each on Monday.
