Kota Kinabalu: The Datuk Seri Dr Joachim Gunsalam Cup Charity Golf tournament organised by the Parents and Teachers Association (PIBG) of La Salle Secondary School is set to take place at the Sabah Golf and Country Club (SGCC) on February 17.
Organising chairman Andre Norbert, who is also the PIBG chairman, said the main purpose of the tournament which has attracted some 130 participants is to raise funds for the PIBG coffers.
According to him, the main prize is a Proton Saga also sponsored by Joachim for the ‘Hole in One’ winner at Hole 9.
He expressed his gratitude to Maswings, Sazarice, 100Plus, PJ Tan, Sabah Golf & Country Club, Alumni SM La Salle and SK Sacred Heart and SM La Salle School Board for their support.
