- Morgan strongly refuted claims in the memoir alleging he published hidden camera gym photographs of Princess Diana, clarifying that the pictures were printed two years before he joined the Daily Mirror while he was working as a showbiz columnist at The Sun.
- Speaking on his YouTube show Uncensored, Morgan demanded that the false statements be removed from the book and requested a donation be made to the King's Trust for the damage caused by the allegations.
- The 400-page memoir also claims that Morgan snarled with annoyance when Earl Spencer personally contacted tabloid editors to disinvite them from Princess Diana's funeral following her death in 1997.
- In response to other claims in the memoir suggesting King Charles expressed insensitive remarks after Diana's death, Buckingham Palace noted that the pain of fraternal grief can cloud reason, affect judgement, and colour memory.
