Piers Morgan has issued a direct television address to Donald Trump after Volodymyr Zelensky’s bombshell interview.
Appearing on Piers Morgan Uncensored on Wednesday (14 October), the Ukrainian president told the presenter that he felt betrayed by the US president as he discussed Trump’s deal with Moscow for diesel to curb domestic fuel prices.
Looking directly into the camera after the interview, Mr Morgan said: If you are watching President Trump, do the right thing here. Siding with Vladimir Putin against this guy and his country, it is the wrong thing.
“It’s what we called in World War Two, appeasement to Hitler. Don’t be that guy. Give this guy the support he needs to defeat the modern day Hitler.”
“We in England and the UK are right behind you,” he then tells Zelensky.
