MANILA, Philippines — A Filipino tourist was jailed six weeks in Singapore after taking upskirt videos of six women in under three hours, during a vacation in the city-state.
Singaporean media outlets revealed the Filipino tourist as 27-year-old Usi Christian Jior Orlino, who faced six counts of voyeurism, and pleaded guilty to three of those charges, with the remaining counts “to be taken into consideration by the judge during sentencing.”
Orlino was staying in the city-state with his girlfriend at the time of the incident.
Charge sheets that were obtained by Singaporean news outlet AsiaOne revealed that the Filipino tourist “filmed six different women in under three hours” on Nov. 6, 2025.
Five of these were filmed at the city-state’s Chinatown Point and another one at a train station.
At a cafe in Chinatown Point, the Filipino placed his mobile phone under the skirt of a woman wearing a blue dress and filmed her for 33 seconds.
Another incident was at a train station at Outram Park, where he spotted a woman in a black dress, took photos of her, and secretly filmed her between her legs.
Two commuters caught Orlino and handed him to the station’s staff. Police arrived and arrested him on the spot, upon seeing the videos on his phone.
Prosecutors urged the local judge to sentence the Filipino to six weeks in prison, while the defense pleaded for leniency because it was his first offense and all the filming happened on the same day.
