
Kota Kinabalu: Sabah PKR has denied an allegation that it did not invite Warisan to its recent Himpunan Perdana Rakyat, here, on Aug 4.
Its Information Chief Razeef Rakimin said such baseless allegation by certain unscrupulous quarters in social media was deliberately aimed to portray PKR as a party that did not respect other components in the Unity Government.
Razeef, who is also National PKR information deputy chief, said in fact PKR Sabah did send the invitation to Warisan via its secretary-general Datuk Loretto Padua in July of this year.
He said Loretto responded on July 31 via WhatsApp that Warisan could not send a representative to the event as they had to attend a retreat
