KOTA KINABALU: PKR Kota Kinabalu held its annual general meeting on Saturday with the attendance of more than 92 members, reinforcing its grassroots structure and preparing for future political challenges.

Division Chief and Nominated Assemblywoman Grace Lee highlighted the focus on youth recruitment and training.

“We must engage the youth as future successors and ensure they understand PKR and the reformasi spirit. This effort continues even in government,” she said.

She also stressed ongoing programmes for women and community development.

The branch honoured long-serving members of up to 20 years with certificates and tokens.

Following the meeting, Grace said PKR is planning a large-scale youth membership drive to strengthen the party’s presence in Kota Kinabalu.
