PKR vice-president Datuk Seri R. Ramanan says the party is finalizing its candidate list for the upcoming Melaka state election and will announce them in two to three weeks.
KUALA LUMPUR: PKR is ready to face the Melaka state election, with preparations well underway and its candidates expected to be announced within the next two to three weeks, said its vice-president Datuk Seri R. Ramanan.
He said the party was in the final stages of finalising its list of candidates for the state election.
“So far, we are in the process of finalising the candidates who will contest in Melaka. This weekend, we will launch the election operations room for PKR as part of our preparations for the PRN.
“So, wait another two to three weeks and we will announce the candidates who will contest,” he told reporters after officiating MyBakat 2026 Week by TalentCorp here today.
On the party’s level of preparedness, Ramanan said PKR was always ready to face any election.
“We are always prepared. Whether we are sufficiently prepared or not, that will only be known when the election results are announced,” he said.
