I learned from my experience organizing corporate wargames in early 2000s for all levels of Malaysia Airlines staff in collaboration with Army Officers of the 10th Parachute Brigade at Terendak Camp Melaka that “Military precision” means performing a task with great care, accuracy, and exactness, as if following a strict, organized plan or drill. It implies an extreme level of attention to detail, meticulous organization, unwavering focus & highly meticulous planning to ensure every aspect is done correctly and systematically. The process is done with high precision, ensuring that every step or detail is correct. (https://newswav.com/A2509_nGMozn?s=A_ElvxYTA&language=en)

Unlike regular army units, the 10th PARA Brigade operates as an independent combat formation that reports directly to the Chief of Army. It is a special operations capable unit in the Malaysian Army with both airborne and marine capabilities, designed to carry out rapid-response missions within Malaysia. On 27 September, I attended a family briefing led by my uncle, Lt. Kol Dato' Nawawi Mat Desa (Retired), former Commanding Officer of Royal Malay Regiment, in preparation of his son, Aizat wedding on 28 December. The briefing attended by the event committee members and family representatives, was held the home of my niece, Assoc Prof Dr. Nurul Hayah, the Principal of Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee College, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) Serdang.

Evidently, for this family meeting, the event was organized with "military precision". Dato' Nawawi has meticulously planned, with every detail carefully arranged & executed to ensure it ran smoothly and exactly as intended. I observed even the smallest elements are considered and executed to perfection.

Dato' Nawawi revealed, “Other than our immediate family members and the bride entourage, I am inviting my alumnus from Federation Military College (FMC) and the Royal Military College (RMC) as well as my former colleagues who're retired senior military officers who had attended many wedding receptions. The essential elements of any memorable event are typically straightforward - great food, great company, great music & great hospitality.”
