I WAS sad to see Sabah FC fail to take advantage of the home ground support and lost 1-2 to Selangor FC at the Likas Stadium on Tuesday.
We were heavily punished by the visitors with our own mistakes and it was also our second home defeat of the season in the Super League.
Both teams had their fair share of attacks from the first whistle, and Sabah FC had a dream start when they were able to take the lead in the 27th minute.
Jafri Chew broke through on the left flank and fired a stinging cross towards goal. With Darren Lok and Selangor FC’s skipper Safuwan Baharuddin challenging for the cross, the ball was diverted into his own net by Safuwan instead.
