A toddler in China had a great time making friends with a playful beluga whale - until the whale made a “friendly” face.
The wide open mouth scared the little girl, who turned around to her parents for a hug.
According to Fox 26, staff at the aquarium call the face “friendly communication” as belugas are known for pulling faces.
The amusing footage of the whale greeting the young girl was filmed at an aquarium in Tianjin, China, on 16 October.
