Sony PlayStation Pulse Elevate wireless speakers will be released in Malaysia on 12 November 2026. First announced in September last year, the latest addition to PlayStation’s audio accessories family was designed as a desktop audio solution for not only PlayStation 5, but also for gaming PC, Macs, PlayStation Portal, and even smartphones.
We have noticed local authorised PlayStation retailers have begun highlighting the PlayStation-branded wireless desktop speakers at their stores. Available in Midnight Black and White, the Pulse Elevate will be released in Malaysia for RM1,099, with pre-orders expected to be opened this month.
Sony Pulse Elevate Quick Specs
The new Pulse Elevate wireless speakers feature “studio-inspired” planar magnetic drivers alongside built-in woofers, aiming to deliver low-distortion audio with crisp highs and rich bass. That being said, Sony did not reveal the size of the drivers inside these speakers, as well as their power output.
Meanwhile, Pulse Elevate also come with Tempest 3D AudioTech, allowing players to experience immersive spatial audio without needing to wear a headset. For group chat, an integrated microphone equipped with AI-enhanced noise rejection is built directly into Pulse Elevate’s right speaker.
Pulse Elevate also feature PlayStation Link technology that promises lossless, ultra-low latency connectivity via the included USB-C adapter. These speakers support simultaneous PlayStation Link and Bluetooth connectivity, which allows users to stream music or take phone calls from their smartphone while simultaneously staying connected to their in-game audio.
As the physical design of the Pulse Elevate speakers also includes a slanted section on its base, you can choose to tilt the speakers back if you prefer. The built-in rechargeable batteries provide up to 12 hours of battery life for Pulse Elevate, but while the speakers do come with dedicated charging docks, the charging time was not mentioned by Sony.
For convenience, each speaker comes with physical control buttons, but unfortunately, no remote control. Last but not least, Pulse Elevate’s audio settings, including EQ, sidetone, volume, and mic mute, are adjustable through system menus on the PlayStation 5, and this capability will make its way to PC as well after the speakers are released into the market.
