Kota Kinabalu: Chairman of the Sabah Action Body Advocating Rights (Sabar) Trustees, Datuk Dr Johan Samad, called on Sabahans to write more books about Sabah.
He also said there is a huge Malay market for books, seeing that most of those thronging the book exhibition were Malays, where some expressed interest in reading his book if written in Bahasa.
He said this at the Sabah launch of his book “Unequal Partners – Race, Religion, Domination and Inequality in East Malaysia” at the Kota Kinabalu Wetlands, after having launched it at the Book Expo in Kuala Lumpur earlier this month.
