
Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Tourism Board recognises I-World Travel for its work in promoting community-based tourism (CoBT) in Sabah.
On Wednesday, Sabah Tourism Board Chairman Datuk Joniston Bangkuai signed a certificate acknowledging the company’s dedication to responsible tourism practices.
AdvertisementHe then presented the certificate to I-World Travel chief executive officer Amity Wong during the company’s Chinese New Year open house celebration.
Joniston, who is also Assistant Tourism, Culture, and Environment Minister, commended I-World Travel for their proactive role in promoting CoBT experiences, particularly in Tenom and Kudat.
