Kota Kinabalu: Attempts are still being made to accommodate some of those in Sabah Umno who had earlier opposed the leadership of Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor in the Unity Government at State level.
Sources said the latest was last Friday when BN Sec-Gen Datuk Zambry Abdul Kadir, who is also Foreign Minister, PKR Sec-Gen Datuk Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, who is also Home Minister and Umno Youth Chief Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki called on Hajiji.
They said Hajiji is annoyed that these groups are now using Federal leaders to put pressure on Sabah to accept the idea.
