
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim congratulates SPM 2025 high achievers and encourages all students to continue their journey with determination for nation-building.
KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has extended his congratulations to all students who achieved excellent results in the 2025 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination.
In a Facebook post, Anwar expressed hope that these students would continue to advance with determination and confidence to achieve further excellence and contribute to nation-building.
He also offered words of encouragement to students who did not perform as well, advising them not to lose hope as the journey ahead remains long with opportunities always open to those who persevere.
“The national education system is in place to support every step,” said Anwar, adding that the future is determined not by a single result but by the determination to keep moving forward.
The SPM 2025 results recorded an improved performance with a National Average Grade (GPK) of 4.42 compared to 4.49 in 2024.
Education director-general Datuk Dr Mohd Azam Ahmad reportedly stated that a total of 13,779 candidates achieved excellent results with A+, A and A- in all subjects.
This figure marks an increase of 3.55% compared to the 13,827 candidates who achieved similar excellence in 2024.
