Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim offers prayers for the King’s health and sovereignty on his official birthday.

KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has extended his congratulations to His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim on the King’s official birthday.

In a Facebook post today, Anwar conveyed his highest congratulations and best wishes in conjunction with the occasion on March 23, 2026.

He also offered prayers for His Majesty and the Royal Family to be blessed with Allah’s mercy and guidance.

The Prime Minister prayed for the King to remain in good health, well-being and full sovereignty.

“I humbly extend my highest congratulations and best wishes in conjunction with the official birthday of His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, Sultan and Ruler of Johor Darul Ta’zim and the King of Malaysia,” Anwar said.

He concluded his message by stating, “May Allah protect the Sultan.”
