THE final day of the Rancakkan MADANI Bersama Malaysiaku programme and the 2025 National Public Service Reform Convention drew a large audience on Sunday as Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim officiated the closing ceremony of the three-day event.
The programme opened at 11 a.m. with the national anthem, followed by the Rukun Negara pledge led by Muhammad Ismail Aminuddin of the Ministry of National Unity, and a musical performance by Malaysia’s national songstress, Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza Taruddin, before Anwar delivered his keynote address.
The Prime Minister was also scheduled to launch two public-oriented initiatives: Sahabat Penggerak MADANI and the Skim Insuran Kesejahteraan Rakyat (SIKR) 3.0.
Organised to highlight the achievements of the MADANI administration—particularly throughout 2025—and to promote the Public Service Reform Agenda (ARPA), the programme showcased eight thematic segments: MADANI People’s Products, MADANI People’s Wellbeing, ARPA, ASEAN Chairmanship, MADANI Community Cohesion, MADANI Sales, MADANI Youth and Visit Malaysia Year 2026.
The event was hosted by the Performance Acceleration Coordination Unit (PACU) of the Prime Minister’s Office, in collaboration with the Public Service Department and the Malaysia Productivity Corporation.
Among today’s main attractions was a joint appearance by both Deputy Prime Ministers, Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof, during the fifth forum session, which explored the theme Government MADANI:
Retrospective and Mapping the Road Ahead. Earlier, at 8.30 a.m., the forum featured the Chief Secretary to the Government, Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar, and the Chief Commissioner of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission, Tan Sri Azam Baki, discussing Three Years of the MADANI Government: A Public Service Perspective.
Other highlights on the main stage included a lucky draw session and a Sustainable Cleaning demonstration conducted by the Ministry of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA) in partnership with Indah Water Konsortium (IWK).
The programme as a whole underscored ongoing efforts to strengthen unity, education, the arts and Islamic values, while also presenting the administration’s achievements during its three-year tenure.
In addition to policy content, a series of public attractions were prepared as a gesture of appreciation to visitors, including the MADANI Sales offering discounts on essential goods—such as back-to-school promotions—and a career carnival featuring around 30 employers and more than 5,000 job opportunities.
Participating employers included FGV Holdings, SD Guthrie, Bank Rakyat, Bank Simpanan Nasional, Top Glove, Amanah Raya, Mandarin Oriental, Ranhill Technologies, Westports, Port of Tanjung Pelepas and Columbia Asia, making the event one of the largest job-matching platforms of the year as 2025 draws to a close. - December 7, 2025
