The outspoken Haryana Cabinet Minister Anil Vij today said that the tenure of the first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru was a ‘dark night’, while PM Modi’s 12 years are like a ‘shining sun’.
The minister today attended in a yajna, organised to mark PM Modi’s 12-year tenure.
Speaking to mediapersons, Vij said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has now served as Prime Minister one day longer than India’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. Modi is the longest-serving elected Prime Minister of the country. If one compares their tenures, Jawaharlal Nehru’s 12 years were a dark night, while Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 12 years are a shining sun, during which every sector in the country has advanced.”
He said, “All BJP workers in Ambala Cantonment have prayed that as Prime Minister, Modi has worked in the last 12 years for all sections of society, he may continue to work for the country for a long time and lead the nation to new heights.
