PRIME MINISTER Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has expressed his high expectations for the entire civil service machinery, which is being led by Chief Secretary to the Government (KSN) Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar, in driving the essential changes required for the country's progress.
In a recent statement, the Prime Minister highlighted the critical role of effective communication across the government machinery, stressing the importance of ensuring that the initiatives planned by the government are understood by all segments of society.
"Today, I attended the Chief Secretary’s Retreat for Ministries and Head of Services following the Cabinet retreat that took place last January," the Prime Minister noted.
He emphasised that collaboration between the members of the administration, specifically the Cabinet and the Civil Service, was vital for navigating the country’s priorities and agenda, particularly in ensuring the success of the MADANI Economic framework being implemented by the government.
"Thus, I place high hopes on the entire civil service machinery, led by the Chief Secretary to the Government, to drive the changes that the nation requires," he continued in his Facebook post.
The event was also attended by Tan Sri Shamsul Azri and Tan Sri Wan Ahmad Dahlan Abdul Aziz, the Director-General of Public Service. – March 15, 2025
