KUALA LUMPUR – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s meeting with South Korea’s foreign minister Park Jin at the Prime Minister’s Office yesterday was a stroll down memory lane.
In a series of tweets, Anwar recalled a chance meeting between both men 27 years ago.
In 1996, Park, who served as political secretary to then South Korean president Kim Young-sam, acted as translator for Anwar during his official visit to the country.
Anwar also recalled Park's rise to prominence in view of the meet.
