PM’s ex-aide Farhash now a substantial shareholder in HeiTech Padu

KUALA LUMPUR – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s former political secretary, Farhash Wafa Salvador Rizal Mubarak, is now a substantial shareholder of Heitech Padu Bhd, having acquired 15.9% (16.1 million shares).

A Bursa filing by HeiTech Padu yesterday said the ex-Perak PKR chief acquired the shares via a private company called Rosetta Partners Sdn Bhd, but did not state how much was paid for the stake.

He is the chairman and director of several companies, including 7-Eleven Malaysia Holdings Bhd and Apex Equity Holdings Bhd.

Earlier this week, on Monday, 14.57 million shares of HeiTech Padu, or 14.4% equity interest, were acquired by MyEG Capital Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of MyEG Services Bhd.

HeiTech Padu, an information technology services provider, also informed Bursa on Monday that its contract to provide maintenance services to the Malaysian Immigration System (MyIMMs) had been extended for 12 months, until February 17, 2025. 

Its first contract was secured in March 2021 and was to expire on February 17 this year.

The extended contract is worth RM13.11 million. – March 15, 2024
