SANDAKAN: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim (pic) says the Government will review the implementation of e-invoicing and the Sales and Services Tax (SST) after hearing concerns from small businesses.

He acknowledged weaknesses in enforcing the policies during a gathering in Karamunting on Wednesday and said adjustments were necessary to avoid burdening the public.

Anwar said the Government had taken note of issues raised by business communities in Sandakan, Kota Kinabalu, Kuala Lumpur and Penang despite being unable to make formal announcements during the campaign period.

He added that national progress depended on mutual respect and rejecting divisive politics and racial sentiments.

Anwar told the crowd that his aspiration was for Sabah and Malaysia to regain international respect for the benefit of the people, not personal gain.
