PNB declares special dividend ahead of 110th anniversary

PHILIPPINE National Bank (PNB) has declared a special cash dividend equivalent to around 7 percent of its 2025 net income ahead of its 110th anniversary this July.

The country’s eighth-largest universal and commercial bank by assets as of end-December 2025, according to the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, told the stock exchange on Friday that its board approved a special cash dividend of P1.10 per common share. The special dividend is payable on June 19 to stockholders on record as of June 8, and recognizes the continued support and trust of shareholders while highlighting its long-standing stability and sustained performance. The special payout comes on top of the regular cash dividend, equivalent to 20 percent of PNB’s 2025 net income, approved by the board in February this year. The first tranche of the regular dividend was paid in March, while the second tranche is scheduled for payment in October.“PNB’s strong capital position and consistent earnings enable us to deliver meaningful value to our shareholders, while continuing to invest in the bank’s long-term growth and transformation,” PNB President and Chief Executive Officer Edwin Bautista said.“As we mark our 110th year, this special dividend underscores not only our financial strength, but also our confidence in PNB’s ability to remain relevant, competitive and responsive in a rapidly evolving landscape,” he added.
