Crystal Palace are inching closer to concluding a deal for James McCarthy.
Palace have been on the hunt for a central midfielder to shore up that area of their team.
McCarthy is set to arrive for roughly 8.5 million, per Sky Sports.
The two clubs are also doing business on Wilfried Zaha, but they are not close to agreeing a fee.
It is believed that any move for McCarthy is independent of the Zaha situation.
Palace also want to sign Victor Camarasa from Real Betis.
