The former Tottenham boss is heavily linked with a departure from the French capital club.
According to L'Equipe, the issue between the two parties is the way Pochettino's remaining contract will be paid out.
He is owed a package of around £12.8 million.
There is disagreement over a further £1.7 million payment that Pochettino believes he is owed.
Pochettino did help PSG win Ligue 1 and the Coupe de France, but failed to secure the much coveted Champions League title their Qatari owners desire.
