Mauricio Pochettino wants to give Romelu Lukaku a fresh chance at Chelsea.
The centre-forward is on-loan with Inter Milan this season and has expressed a reluctance to return to Stamford Bridge over the summer.
However, La Gazzetta dello Sport says Pochettino is keen to speak with Lukaku about returning to Chelsea next season once he is confirmed new manager.
Pochettino's favoured system favours a centre-forward and he is convinced Lukaku can be Chelsea's answer to Harry Kane at Tottenham.
For the moment, Lukaku is preparing with Inter for their Champions League semifinal against AC Milan.
