AT least 13 people believed to be members of the True Brown Style (TBS) gang have been arrested from August 2024 to Sept. 28, 2026, the National Capital Region Police Office said Monday.
Two were apprehended in 2024, four in 2025, and seven in 2026.
The arrests were recorded across the NCRPO’s police districts, with six arrests made in areas under the Southern Police District (SPD), four under the Manila Police District (MPD), two under the Quezon City Police District (QCPD), and one under the Northern Police District (NPD).
The 13 TBS members were linked to 21 offenses, including four firearms possession cases, three cases of illegal gambling, three cases of kidnapping or illegal detention, and two cases involving illegal drugs.
Other offenses included theft, homicide, trafficking in persons, cybercrime, violation of the Anti-Hazing Law, child abuse, grave coercion, resistance or disobedience to a person in authority, and other special-law violations.
“We will continue to track down other members of TBS, particularly those who engage in illegal activities and those who recruit or influence young people to commit crimes,” Gen. Christopher Abrahano, NCRPO acting officer-in-charge, said in a statement.
