SIPITANG: The long arm of the law lent a helping hand at the Sekolahku Sejahtera (Prosper My School) concept launched by Senior Minister for Education, Datuk Dr Radzi Jidin earlier this year.

OCPD Champin Piuh said the concept naturally inculcates 14 elements of life values in students, namely safe, fun, healthy, ethics, empathy, self-identity, courteous, harmony, diligence, thorough, competence, exploration, rationality, and articulation during teaching and learning sessions.

The programme was officiated by both Dr Radzi and Home Minister Dato Sri Hamzah Zainudin and broadcast live on YouTube from SMK Putrajaya Precint 14(1).

“The presence of the police at the launch was to foster a closer relationship with schools in an effort to eradicate bullying among students and to discourage them from engaging in drug activities,” he stated. Among the schools visited were SMK Pengiran Omar, SMK Pengiran Omar II, SMK Padang Berampah and SMK Sindumin.

Also visited were SRJK (C) Chung Hwa Pekan, SK Lubuk Darat, SK Merintaman, SK Ulu Sipitang, SRJK (C) Chung Hwa Mesapol and SK Pantai.

SK Mesapol, SK Mendulong, SK Kebawang, SK Melalia, SK Melamam, SK Banting, SK Palakat, SK Solob, SK Long Pasia, SK Mengalong, and SK Pekan Sipitang wound down the visit.
