
Police are tracking four men for stealing Tenaga Nasional Berhad cables in Semenyih, with the public urged to provide information.
KAJANG: Police are tracking four men believed to be involved in the theft of cables belonging to Tenaga Nasional Berhad.
Kajang police chief ACP Naazron Abdul Yusof said a report was received yesterday morning. Initial investigations found the suspects arrived in a grey vehicle and were seen cutting the cables.
The suspects fled after being confronted by residents at the scene near the D’Kayangan Setia Ecohill Apartment in Semenyih.
The case is being investigated under Section 431A of the Penal Code for mischief by cutting cables.
Naazron urged anyone with information to come forward to assist the investigation. They can contact the nearest police station or the investigating officer, Sergeant Nadzul Majdi Abu Seman, at 017-4661757.
