
MALAYSIAN police have launched a murder investigation after the body of an unidentified woman was found naked with her hands tied near the Blue Water Estate roundabout in Seri Kembangan on Wednesday afternoon.
Serdang district police chief Assistant Commissioner Muhamad Farid Ahmad said officers were alerted to the discovery by a member of the public.
“The dead victim, a female of unknown origin, was found with her hands tied and naked near the Blue Water Estate roundabout in Seri Kembangan. Investigations are being conducted under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder,” he said in a statement.
He added that the victim is believed to be around 144 centimetres tall, with shoulder-length brown hair, long nails and silver earrings in both ears. She was also wearing a green and red bangle and had a tattoo on her right hand.
