
AUTHORITIES arrested five high-value illegal drug targets and seized from the suspects 125 grams of suspected shabu estimated at P850,000 and firearms with ammunition during separate buy-bust operations in Barangay San Dionesio, Parañaque City, early Tuesday.
Police operatives from the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) conducted the operations under the leadership of Parañaque Chief of Police Col. Nicolas Piñon, in cooperation with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.
Authorities confiscated several sachets containing suspected shabu.
Also recovered were one Taurus caliber 9mm pistol, one caliber 9mm magazine, and four live caliber 9mm ammunition, which will undergo appropriate verification and examination.
Southern Police District Director BGen. Glenn Oliver Cinco said the arrest of the high-value individual and four other suspects, together with the seized suspected shabu and an illegal firearm, reflects the district’s continuing campaign against illegal drugs and criminality.
He added that the Southern Police District will continue conducting operations against identified drug personalities and other criminal elements.
