Kota Kinabalu: Police have ordered the closure of an amusement park near Likas Stadium here after a man and woman were thrown from their seats during a fun ride, it has been reported.
Kota Kinabalu police district chief Assistant Superintendent Mohd Zaidi Abdullah said the closure was to allow the operators to recheck the safety level of all games offered at the amusement park, OCDN reported.
He told reporters that the police are currently investigating the case under Section 336 of the Criminal Code for negligent behaviour that endangers the life or safety of others.
The two were thrown out of their seats in an Octopus ride.
