PAPAR: A police report has been lodged following a viral post involving animal cruelty at an apartment here.
The posting of a stray dog that was allegedly beaten to death with a hard object was shared on Facebook.
Screenshots of the incident were shared in a group chat believed to be residents who expressed annoyance towards the stray animals and have decided to “call to arms” those interested in their “project” of handling the dogs themselves.
Following the incident, animal rights activist Dr Roslee Abas, who received a complaint from one of the residents, lodged a police report on Jan 28.
