POLICE have appealed to the public for assistance in identifying a man whose body was found floating in Tasik Biru, bearing a distinctive tattoo on his shoulder.

Sungai Buloh district police chief Superintendent Mohd Hafiz Muhammad Nor said the discovery was reported by members of the public at about 8.03am.

“The victim, who is approximately 170 centimetres tall and fair-skinned, has a distinctive marking in the form of a ‘ship floss’ tattoo on his left shoulder and no Bacillus Calmette-Guerin (BCG) vaccination scar on his left arm.

“When found, the victim was wearing a dark brown shirt with the word ‘Suppligae’, blue jeans and a Seiko wristwatch with a green strap,” he said in a statement.

Police are urging anyone with relevant information or who may have a missing family member matching the description to come forward.

“Accordingly, any individual who has information or has lost a family member with these characteristics is urged to contact investigating officer Sergeant Major Rosli Mohd Nor at 013-6095744 or to visit the nearest police station to assist in the investigation,” he said.

Mohd Hafiz also advised the public to respect the sensitivities of the victim’s family and refrain from circulating unverified images or information related to the case on social media. - March 21, 2026
