LAHAD DATU: Police seized 16 imitation firearms and arrested a 27-year-old man, here, on Thursday.
A team from the Sabah Criminal Investigation Department's (CID) special investigation (D9) unit and Lahad Datu CID raided a house in Bandar Sri Perdana following information at 10.30am.
Sabah CID chief SAC Azmi Abd Rahim said the seizures comprised seven rifles and nine guns.
He said, police also seized five packets of bullets, two gun gas barrels, two chargers, two fast loaders, 14 sniper cartridges, seven pistol cartridges and one sniper cartridge.
