Kota Kinabalu: Police reportedly raided a premises selling imitation firearms in Kolombong, here, Tuesday.

The 2pm raid was carried out by the Criminal Investigation Department D9 (Special Investigation) of the Criminal Investigation Department (JSJ) of the Sabah Contingent Police Headquarters and also arrested two individuals including the "tauke" of the premises.

AdvertisementSabah Contingent JSJ chief, Datuk Azmi Abd Rahim, said acting on information, the team conducted an inspection and found that the premises were selling various types of imitation firearms.

"Among the imitation firearms seized were four units of Glock brand semi-auto pistols and one P Beretta brand semi-auto pistol. In addition, a Glock Austria brand semi-auto pistol.
