
Tuaran: Members of the public are advised to stop carrying out any recreational activities, especially by the river or coastal areas during the monsoon season and unpredictable weather.
Tuaran District Police Chief, Supt Noraidin Ag Maidin, said this is for the safety of visitors, local residents and urged parents and guardians to monitor their children’s movements.
“The public should be aware of the weather conditions or warning from security agencies from time to time,” he said.
He also urged all tourism operators, especially in Tuaran to prioritise safety.
