Police to interview Virginia Giuffre’s family in US over Andrew claims

  • Thames Valley Police (TVP) detectives are set to travel to the US to interview family members of Virginia Giuffre as part of their investigation into alleged misconduct by Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
  • The police intend to speak with Ms Giuffre's brother, Sky Roberts, and sister-in-law, Amanda Roberts, regarding her claims of sexual assault against the former prince.
  • Ms Giuffre, who died by suicide in 2025, alleged that she was assaulted by Mr Mountbatten-Windsor three times when she was under 18, after being trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein.
  • Mr Mountbatten-Windsor, who stepped down as a trade envoy in 2011 due to his association with Epstein, has consistently and strenuously denied all allegations.
  • The ongoing TVP probe focuses on alleged misconduct in a public office, which the force said can encompass a broad range of offences, including sexual offences, not just financial criminality.
