KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 9 — Police are tracking the driver and passenger of a Perodua Alza following a viral video showing the passenger sticking part of their body out of the rear window while the vehicle was moving along the Kajang-Seremban Expressway.

Kajang police chief ACP Naazron Abdul Yusof said the 12-second video went viral on Threads yesterday, with the incident believed to have occurred at KM1 of the expressway towards Kajang.

We received a report on the incident at 2.57pm yesterday, and the case is being investigated under Section 336 of the Penal Code for a rash or negligent act that endangers the life or personal safety of others,” he said in a statement last night.

He urged anyone with information on the incident to contact the nearest police station or the investigating officer, Insp Afiq Rifdi Mohd Azmi, at 011-29667474. — Bernama
