- Merseyside Police are appealing for information to identify a woman found dead inside a black bin bag in Stanley Park, Liverpool, on 28 August.
- Investigating officers believe the body had lain undetected in the park's walled garden between the Anfield and Goodison Park football grounds for several weeks before being discovered.
- Despite receiving 73 names from the public, forensic tests have yielded no match on the national DNA database, and dental records could not be compared.
- The deceased is described as a white woman, approximately 70 years old, 5ft 2in tall, of small build, with strawberry blonde hair, who was wearing a pink Nike t-shirt.
- Detective chief inspector John Fitzgerald has urged drone operators who flew over the park in recent months to check their footage to assist the murder investigation.
