Policemen stop traffic along MRR2 to save frightened baby monkey

TRAFFIC policemen stopped traffic along the Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2) recently to save a baby monkey trapped in between the dividers.

The roadblock was called just in front of  the Petron station in Pandan Perdana Ampang in Selangor yesterday while Sergeant Hairil Abd Gapol and another man rescued the frightened animal.

Based on a video posted on the PDRM Facebook, the monkey was making chattering sounds as it was carried to safety.

As soon as the monkey was taken to safety, the traffic policemen allowed traffic to resume.

Hairil is from the Ampang Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department.

Netizens praised the traffic policemen for working together to rescue the poor frightened baby monkey. - The Vibes, February 13, 2024
