The heat of Malaysia political season has reach it’s peak as the commencement of the 15th General Election (GE15) on 19th November where Malaysians will cast their vote to choose their leader has come.
As the election reaching it’s end, various last minutes campaigning process were done, but one creative takes by a Kelantanese fashion graduate takes it all as it amuse, impress and serve couture during these exciting times.
Muhamad Zulwafi Ahmad Rosli, 27, a fashion graduate has gone viral in social media, previously, by showcasing red carpet worthy dresses made from political coalition and parties flag such as long train dress made from Barisan Nasional (BN) flag as well as kimono inspired silhouette dress from Parti Islam Se-Malaysia (PAS) flag.
According to Mstar, Wafi stated that he didn’t have any solid political preference and just want to share his creativity and liven up the GE15 political season that happened currently.
“The main reason why I created these garments are just to celebrate the moments in this election. It is not an annual occasion and I decided to make it for my followers and spice up the atmosphere.”, says Wafi.
“I’m not doing this for any politicking purpose. I hope no one takes this seriously as I did nothing except for making these gowns and sharing the video on social media.”, adds Wafi.
Wafi also stated that he wished for voters to make the best choice for whom they select to lead our nation and bring a stable economy as well as no negative issues such as corruption.
According to Wafi, he didn’t take a long time to make the dresses as he didn’t emphasize the details and just made them for his media social content.
“I just made the dress for my own usage, so the stitching is not 100% neat as I’m focusing on the shape and silhouette of the dress.”, says Wafi.

Wafi also stated that the dresses endear to the netizen due to their interest in glamorous outfits with movements as the wow factor despite preferring minimalist style.
“They want to see the outfit movements, but I also make it interesting by adding appropriate songs for the video.”, says Wafi.
Wafi also created a Disney-inspired dress using Pakatan Harapan (PH) flag, inspired by the character Cruella as shown in his TikTok account.
