A popular Thai massage outlet in Setia Alam, Shah Alam, was raided on Thursday night (12 February) by officers from the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA).

The raid was carried out in collaboration with Tuan Naqiudin from the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), who is also the head of the Section 9 Police Station in Shah Alam. During the operation at the outlet in Eco Ardence, Setia Alam, no business activities were taking place despite the premises being open.

However, MBSA and PDRM found that the premises were operating without a valid licence

In an official statement posted on MBSA’s Facebook page, the council said a thorough inspection was conducted to ensure the management complied with business licensing regulations. Authorities found that the outlet did not possess a valid business licence, prompting MBSA to order its immediate closure.
