Sporting CP fullback Pedro Porro is excited joining Tottenham.
The Spain international is currently undergoing a medical at Spurs Lodge.
Before flying to London, Porro told O Jogo this morning: "I'm very happy with this step, but I'm leaving a club that gave me everything. I'm very grateful and hope everything goes well for them. I leave many friends, they know that since I arrived I'm very grateful to make my life and chase my dream.
On claims he refused to train at Sporting, Porro added: "No. I only asked because I was negotiating, my head wasn't right.
"I am very grateful to Sporting and Sporting understood the situation."
