Sime Darby Auto Performance has officially unveiled the all-new Porsche Cayenne Electric in Malaysia. Marking the brand’s third fully electric model after the Taycan and Macan, the seminal luxury SUV made its dynamic local debut on the tarmac of the iconic Sepang International Circuit.
The next-generation, fourth-iteration Cayenne is built on the advanced 800-volt Premium Platform Electric (PPE) co-developed with Audi. Blending track-honed dynamics with zero-emissions daily usability, the electric Cayenne hits local shores in six distinct variants spanning standard SUV and dynamic Coupé body styles.

- Cayenne S Electric: Pushes power to 666 PS (490 kW) and 1,080 Nm in Launch Control, completing the century sprint in 3.8 seconds with a top speed of 250 km/h.
- Cayenne Turbo Electric: Generates a staggering 1,156 PS (850 kW) and 1,500 Nm of torque in Launch Control mode. The flagship catapults from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 2.5 seconds before hitting a top speed of 260 km/h.
Handling dynamics are anchored by standard adaptive air suspension featuring Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), with the state-of-the-art Porsche Active Ride fully active suspension available as an option.
Battery, Range, and 400 kW Charging Capability
Powering the SUV is a large 113 kWh gross battery pack featuring advanced graphite-silicon chemistry.
- WLTP Electric Range: Offers between 623 km and 653 km on SUV variants, while the sleeker aerodynamics of the Coupé body style (C_d as low as 0.23) boost maximum WLTP range up to 669 km.
- Ultra-Fast DC Charging: Operating on an 800V architecture, the Cayenne Electric supports DC fast charging at up to 390–400 kW under optimal conditions. A 10% to 80% charge takes under 16 minutes, adding up to 325 km of range in just 10 minutes.
- AC and Wireless Charging: Comes with 11 kW AC charging standard (upgradeable to 22 kW), alongside optional 11 kW inductive wireless charging capability.
- Curved Driver Display: A 14.25-inch curved OLED instrument cluster paired with an optional Augmented Reality (AR) Head-Up Display.
- Flow Display Touchscreen: Features a horizontally bent OLED central display designed to separate navigation view from lower ergonomic climate controls.
