Porto coach Sergio Conceicao had a pop at Mikel Arteta and Arsenal's tactics after last night's 1-0 win.
Porto took charge of their Champions League round of 16 tie after winning the first-leg.
Asked about Arteta criticising Porto's approach, Conceicao said: "It's an opinion. They wanted to play, we wanted to win."
"The opposing coach [Mikel Arteta] meant that, it seems to me. He's from a school that favors possession of the ball, like Guardiola, the most laureate. They think that the essence of playing is that possession of the ball.
"It depends on the team you have, the performers you have and the strategy. 40/60% in possession of the ball, I wouldn't mind having 30%/70% and winning in the same way.
"Possession of the ball is about how you handle it. Possession is used to score goals and not concede goals in our own goal.
"Today we were the most dangerous team."
Conceicao added, "I promised myself that if we won I would dedicate the victory to my mother, 30 years ago today she left. It's for her, on a difficult day."
