KOTA KINABALU: The first day of the Self Waste Disposal System (SPSS) at Sinsuran Complex on Friday (Aug 1) received positive response from residents and business operators.

Waste collections took place at 10am in Lorong Sinsuran and 10.30am in Lorong Gomantong.

DBKK reminded the public that enforcement will be carried out under the Anti-Litter By-Law 1984 (Amendment 2005), with fines from RM20 to RM500 for littering outside SPSS hours.
