Tottenham Hotspur boss Ange Postecoglou has spoken about his tactical plans for the new season.
The Australian has a lot of work to do, given Spurs finished outside of the European places last season.
After years of percentage football under Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte, Spurs fans may be in for an entirely new style of play.
Postecolgou stated, per football.london: "I think if you look at my career I play different formations.
A lot depends on the players you have at your disposal and I've got this place in terms of football where I just think set formations are not quite a thing of the past, but there's such fluidity in football these days, especially at the highest level like the Premier League, you really need players who are able to perform multiple functions and roles within the side.
"For the most part I've played a 4-3-3 but you probably couldn't pinpoint many moments in the game where that actually exists. It's more about movement and space.
For me the key thing will be to have a really good look at the playing group and see what strengths they have and then come up with a formation that brings the best out of them."
