As expected, the latest drama in the never ending drama that is Malaysian politics, is in regards to who will in then inherit the brand name PN - will it be Pas or will it be Bersatu.
The answer, to me is that of course it will be PAS. It will be PAS that will inherit the name PN because MIPP and Gerakan will remain with Pas.
They will remain with PN because on June 13, Hamzah Zainuddin has already fromed his new party, called Parti Wawasan Negara
So together, PAS, MIPP and Gerakan will vote to kick out Bersatu from the coalition and receive Hamzah's Parti Wawasan Negara to take its place.
Actually, PAS, Bersatu, MIPP and Bersatu likely already know that this is what is going to happen today itself. They probably knew it yesterday or last week itself.
But despite knowing it, they will still say " oh we just had a meeting to decide our future direction and it went well " or " we shall be holding our central committee meeting soon to deliberate on the matter", as if they haven't come to a decision.
Why ?
I don't know.
My theory is that it is because in our country, we are just conditioned to believe that there is virtue in behaving like we are fools and assuming that everybody else are fools too.
If you express yourself straightforwardly and intelligently, the assumption is that you lack humility and don't have sufficient community spirit.
In order to show that you are a humble person who is concerned about the well being of everybody you are with, you should act as if you are a fool who doesn't know even the things that you obviously know, and act as if everybody else are also fools that don't know what they obviously know .
